New Mexico Senate Bill 249 Requires BCBSNM to Reimburse Contracted Medicaid Health Care Providers for Certain Gross Receipts Taxes
Effective Jan. 1, 2026, New Mexico Senate Bill 249 will require Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico to reimburse contracted Medicaid health care providers for all applicable gross receipts taxes that the provider is required to pay for contracted health care services furnished to BCBSNM’s Medicaid members.
